Donation Drives
One of the most common ways our community of animal lovers chooses to become involved in supporting the work of Women's Animal Center is by organizing donation drives to collect vital supplies needed every day for the basic care of our shelter animals.
Food, litter, treats, towels, harnesses, detergents, etc... All add up to thousands and thousands of dollars each year. When our community donates these supplies to us, they enable us to steer our funds to advance the level of care we can provide our shelter animals through special products, medicines and programs that stimulate their minds, exercise their bodies and ultimately enrich their lives during their time with us.
Donation drives are one of the simplest and most popular ways to become involved as a supporter. Women's Animal Center has been the recipient of collections organized by everyone from preschool students to large corporations. All they require is a group organizer, a large donation box or drop-off area, and caring people to spread the word and encourage donations.
Please download our Donation Drive packet to help you successfully run your own donation drive for Women’s Animal Center. The packet includes instructions, important information and contacts, our Shelter Wish List, and more. If your school requires community service hours, this packet also includes information about how to complete those hours through the running of a donation drive.
