Volunteer

Simply put, Women's Animal Center would not be able to do all we do to better the lives of the animals in our care without the passionate and most valued support of our volunteers.

You can become an integral part of Women's Animal Center by joining our dedicated team of volunteers. Whether socializing and providing enrichment and exercise for our shelter dogs, petting our adoptable cats as they await their forever homes, organizing shelter supplies, assisting with fundraising and administrative tasks in our development department, helping at on site and off site community events, our volunteers can make a positive difference and have an important impact on the delivery of our mission.  

How to Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.  We do require all volunteers to be 18 years of age or older.   All volunteers are also required to participate in a volunteer orientation and training session(s).  For youth under the age of 18, we do offer a number of other meaningful ways to become involved in our work.  

Individuals interested in being contacted about future volunteer opportunities can complete the 'Volunteer Interest Form' by clicking on the link below.  We will keep your volunteer interest form on file, and as we begin to identify future volunteer needs, we will then begin accepting new volunteers, and would be in touch with next steps in the application process.  We appreciate your interest in supporting our lifesaving work for animals in need.
