Women's Animal Center bears a great honor, but even greater responsibility as America’s First Animal Shelter™.  Since 1869, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to saving lives inside and outside our shelter walls.

We receive no federal, state or local government funding. Only through the generosity of donors like you have we been able to provide safe shelter, compassionate care and second chances to thousands of animals in need each and every year - for the past 150 years and counting.

Gifts made to Women's Animal Center are fully tax-deductible. Supporters have the option of making a one-time donation, or contributing through monthly installments, safely and securely through our website.
