Preventative Care
The most cost-effective way to keep your pet healthy is to invest in routine veterinary care. Women’s Animal Center believes that prevention is by far the best medicine, and recommend that all pet parents bring their animals in for wellness visits at least once annually.
For many pet owners, the stress, financial strain and/or perceived lack of necessity for regular vet visits outweigh the benefits of preventive care. Ironically, however, putting off veterinary treatment until it becomes a medical necessity only serves to increase the hassle, stress, risk and expense associated with them.
Regular check-ups for your pet can work to detect and address early signs or symptoms of various diseases and conditions before they become more severe. We have found time and again that preventative care can not only save our clients money and time, while often helping to avoid difficult decisions in the long run; it can save the life of their pets.
The wellness visit does not include fees for additional diagnostic tests that may be recommended for senior pets or those suffering with chronic conditions. To schedule your pet's annual visit with Women's Animal Center, please call our Veterinary Hospital at 215-750-5252.
