Women’s Animal Center Earns GuideStar’s Highest Seal of Transparency
Women’s Animal Center today earned a 2019 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. By sharing metrics that highlight the progress Women’s Animal Center is making towards our mission each year, we are helping donors move beyond simplistic ways of nonprofit evaluation by providing meaningful data about our performance. To reach the Platinum level, Women’s Animal Center added extensive information to our GuideStar Nonprofit Profile, including in-depth financial information; qualitative information about goals, strategies, and capabilities; and quantitative information about our impact upon the lives of animals and people in our community.
